THE TOOLS OF THE ALCHEMIST
Transmuting darkness into light, discovering more of ourselves, and uncovering the Truth.
Good day, fellow Alchemists:
There exists a kind of affliction that many of us suffer from. It's a type of spiritual malady riddled with excuses and procrastination, making it so easy to go overlooked and untreated. It makes those suffering from it break out in a kind of hiccup, which can sound like "if only" and "maybe one day," or any other kind of groan or whining sound. Those afflicted may have any or all of the following symptoms: - Working in jobs that they are unhappy with - Being stuck in dysfunctional relationships - Feeling as though they are wasting their potential - Waking up in the morning without a feeling of inspiration In case you haven't caught on yet, the disease we're referring to is LIMITATION, and as debilitating a sickness as it might be, society refers to it as just a simple case of being realistic. But what does it mean to be realistic? In this crazy world of ours, just about anything can happen. And more often than not, the people who stand at the top are those who were willing to take the risks necessary to accomplish what they set out to do. When we examine the possibilities that are available to us at any given moment, without the sense of "realism" that society has instilled in us, we can see how EASILY and EFFORTLESSLY we can bring ourselves into a life filled with everything we've ever wanted. The only obstacle in our way is ourselves. Immediate action is the only cure for a limited mindset. Alchemist, if there is anything at all that you'd rather be doing... if there is something that will fulfill you to an indescribable degree by accomplishing it... We recommend doing it as soon as the thought enters your mind, in the HERE and NOW! After all, you can't change the past and the future has yet to happen. The only thing you can change is yourself in the present moment. With love and sincerity, The Alchemy by LA Counsel Good day, fellow Alchemists:
Every day, we are given a choice. We could either move closer to a life of aligned awareness, which allows for fulfillment and love to manifest or we can choose to stay asleep in a manufactured nightmare. We can make decisions that will put us in a better position for achieving our future plans, or we can keep scrolling on social media, eating junk, and indulging in misaligned behavior. At this very moment Alchemist, we can consciously decide that we won't allow the negativity that has been imprinted on us to dictate our lives. That we won't waste another day dwelling on what could have been or what might happen in the future, and to fully experience our bliss in the moment. That is the power of being a conscious being! We get to decide when to yield to external forces and when to be spiritually unmoving. As we all know, the state of the world is pretty chaotic at the moment. Uncertainty looms over us constantly. At some point, we might just feel the need to relinquish our power completely and sink into a lower vibration. However, if we simply move our intentions inward and dissolve the inner obstacles we face, the external situations we find ourselves in will shrink in size. Our mind contains within it, all our problems and hysterias without an understanding of how to solve any of them. We must quit relying on our mind to have all the answers and find a way out of all the confusion through adherence to the soul. The reflection in a lake can be difficult to see when the waters are frenzied. The same can be said of our minds. In order to see the world around us clearly, we must first find peace within. The process of manifesting your desires has in it, a wide range of loopholes that are at times difficult to navigate. One such loophole is the phenomena of polarity and how it glues you into a particular reality. You see Alchemist, your negative beliefs are attracting more of the circumstances you do not want in your life, despite your best efforts to focus on what you actually want. The Law of Polarity explained within The Seven Hermetic Principles teaches us that two things that appear to be opposites are varying degrees of the same thing and are inseparable. The same applies to everything you want to manifest in your life; the negative and positive aspects of any particular manifestation are one and the same. Therefore, when trying to manifest a desire into existence, you manifest that which you are more aligned to, which more often than not, is negative. If one wishes to manifest financial abundance and is solely focused on the thought of having more, they will bring into existence both the potential for being wealthy and poor. Since all opposites are just varying degrees of one another, this creates a nexus of unwanted happenings as a result of what was originally a positive force of attraction. With this in mind, it may seem like there is little chance of consciously creating your intended outcome without first changing your negative subconscious beliefs, but this is not the case. There is a very simple method of mental focus that can help you by-pass your negative beliefs and free your subconscious mind to attract and create those circumstances you actually want to experience. The secret is knowing when to focus on what you want and when not to; and in the case of the latter, knowing what to focus on instead. You should focus on what you want when your underlying belief is positive, and you should not focus on what you want when the underlying belief is negative. For example, if you would like to shed some extra weight, don't imagine yourself being thin, for that will only trigger your negative reactions which will manifest the opposite of what you want. Instead, focus your mind on exercising. This will have a neutral effect on your mind, allowing you to manifest it more directly into existence and, as a result, you will lose weight thanks to the exercise. This, of course, is just one example. The principle of polarity can be used in a variety of methods when it comes to manifesting. Take some time to experiment with different manifesting goals that vary in difficulty and see how it changes the outcome. With the passing of the blue moon, the intense cosmic energies of renewal have finally stabilized, and a realigning of our natural state-of-being is possible, now with even more spiritual awareness and connection to truth. If you had any feelings of disconnection or negativity recently, it may have been due to this last lunar phase. As we have learned from the Seven Hermetic Principles, in order for something to rise, it must first fall. What some of us have just experienced is akin to a kind of spiritual contraction coming in waves; after the pain, comes a new life. In other words, everything sunk inwards so that it may expand outwards at a greater volume. It is always during times of great spiritual upheaval that we find ourselves unable to jump-start our initial desire for a fulfilling life; as if we are not living in a Universe comprised of pure unconditional love. During states like these, we enter a denser reality. Much of the wisdom we acquired through teachers and our own experiences are let go because of this feeling of jadedness. The severity of this sort of apathy is different for everyone, however, it does make one wonder why we can go from love and light to a dark night of the soul in a matter of a couple of days. The reason is possibly due to a form of spiritual amnesia. It is somewhat disappointing to admit, but humans forget quite easily. We can run around rampant with negative energy trying to ruin everything around us until a reminder comes along to show us how beautiful life is and the infinite potential for good that is present because of our existence. We must learn to recognize when we are in these amnesiac states and return ourselves to consciousness. Life can be messy and our emotions are easily swayed, but if we become aware of the happenings of our daily lives from a spiritual perspective, we can begin to choose our own destiny, rather than falling into it. Along the path of our manifesting journeys, we may come to a point where we begin to lose sight of the fundamental teachings of how to attract what we want. The law of attraction works universally on every level of existence. That means we are constantly attracting our future realities on both the higher realms and the lower ones. Nothing in this Universe is separate, which is why our thoughts, when viewed from higher dimensions, are real in the most real sense. You see Alchemist, it all begins with a single thought or expectation. Once this thought is sent out into the Universe, metaphysical forces of attraction begin to find equilibrium and, as a result, a manifestation occurs. This is the basic mechanism in which we look to exploit for our benefit. Although, in order to do that we must hone our intentions to a very high degree. Many people often complain about the lackluster effects of their manifesting rituals. They tend to see little to no results and can sometimes, in severe situations, even get results opposite of their desired outcome. The source of every manifesting problem occurs where belief and intentions intersect. A belief is only as strong as the intentions that back it. Think of intentions as a rocket that our beliefs ride, carrying us, and our reality into a timeline in which our desired outcome exists. Without properly attuned intentions, who's to say which timeline we'll end up in? We are often pulled into directions that are not of our choosing. It is almost as if we allow all of our negative emotions and limiting beliefs to steer the rocket of intentions to whichever reality they see fit to inhabit. It is time to take the wheel ourselves and continue on a path that leads us to a life of greater happiness and fulfillment. We are the masters of our own destiny. As long as we can maintain a clear view of our own unlimited power in this reality, nothing can stop us from manifesting the perfect life we want. The Universe is an infinitely complex structure that our minds can barely comprehend with three-dimensional logic. Luckily for us, we have been provided with a detailed map of everything within the Universe and how it was created. This of course means we also have a map to ourselves since the axiom as above so below states that all systems in the Universe mimic one another. The map we are describing is known as the Tree of Life, and its wisdom can be traced back to some of the earliest forms of Jewish Mysticisms. Its structure coincides with sacred geometry and the flower of life. Essentially, the Tree of Life is a diagram containing 10 nodes, or Sephirah, each describing a particular state of existence. Along the Tree of Life lie pathways that connect different nodes to one another, helping us to visualize the process which the soul endures in order to attain spiritual enlightenment. From the lowest Sephirah to the highest, the diagram is interpreted as follows: Tenth Sephirah: Malkuth (Kingdom) - Its planet is Earth and it represents the material world and all things physical. Ninth Sephirah: Yesod (Foundation) - Represented by the Moon, this state is also thought of as the dream world or the opening of the imagination which leads to all other states of existence. Think of it as the first thought that manifests all of the conscious aspects of reality. Eighth Sephirah: Hod (Glory) - Represented by Mercury, this Sephirah is all about communication and the use of language. Seventh Sephirah: Netzach (Victory) - Represented by Venus, Netzach is the embodiment of all our emotions, with an emphasis on love. Sixth Sephirah: Tiferet (Beauty) - Represented by the Sun, this Sephirah is known for encompassing all aspects of beauty and lies in a position where all other pathways must pass through it in order to reach the final Sephirah. Fith Sephirah: Gevurah (Severity) - Represented by Mars, this is thought of as the embodiment of anger, violence, and war. Forth Sephirah: Chesed (Kindness) - Represented by Jupiter, this node represents benevolence and mercy. Third Sephirah: Binah (Understanding) - Represented by Saturn, Binah is all about limitations, containment, and even death. It is the end which births a new beginning. Second Sephirah: Chokmah (Wisdom) - Represented by the entire Zodiac, this is the second to last Sephirah, meaning it is closest to understanding divinity. First Sephirah; Kether (Crown) - This is the final state of existence. Very little can be said about Kether other than how the Zohar describes it as the most hidden of all things. Some believe it to be the true essence of the creator, encompassing the source of all compassion. The way we use the Tree of Life is by tracking our own mental and emotional state of being and finding on which point of the diagram we are inhabiting. Once we identify the Sephirah or Sephirot (if inhabiting multiple Sephirah) we are embodying, we may then follow the path it is connected to until we reach higher and higher states of existence along the Tree of Life. This is what is known as pathworking and it can be a valuable tool for anyone wanting to expand their own spiritual perception and understanding. Many times on our manifestation journey we find ourselves at odds with what we have attracted versus what we intended to attract. It may even feel as though our manifestations occur contrary to our desires. We try and manifest friendship and a better social life, and all we get is isolation. We start craving some alone time, and suddenly our phone won't stop ringing with invitations to events. It's like the Universe has it out for us! Except, it's just the opposite. These contradicting manifestations happen primarily because we have not aligned ourselves to the appropriate vibrational settings. We have acquired the mental aspect of attracting through thinking of our desired outcome, but not the spiritual aspect of being a vibrational match to it. In order to manifest accurately, we must be able to live out our desires; to be completely one with them, and allow them to come to fruition. This aspect is achieved in a number of ways, the most important being gratitude. By expressing gratitude for that which we want to manifest, the universe receives a message of already having, creating resonance with a reality in which we have already received our desired outcome. This merges our timeline with one in which our manifestations are ready and available to us. Of course, gratitude is simply a tool that only works as well as you use it. If your beliefs and intentions are not where they need to be energetically, the gratitude will come off as disingenuous. It is through this fusion of proper beliefs, vibrational alignment, and gratitude that allows us to manifest accurately. So much of what goes on in our mind affects us energetically, making it difficult to manifest anything that goes against what we believe. Imagine how powerful our manifestations would be if we simply stopped fighting ourselves through holding contradicting and limiting beliefs. We would be unstoppable! We live in confusing times, Alchemist. It seems the greater our intellectual reach becomes, the more difficult it is to navigate through the endless sea of beliefs that have surfaced in recent years since the rise of the information age. Some might argue that this is a good thing; that we are slowly becoming more aware of the world we live in, rather than being blind to reality. While we are certainly more knowledgeable about the world, we lack the right context that gives that knowledge meaning. The more we know, the weaker our grip becomes on what is real. That feeling of intellectual weightlessness comes with more than its share of anxiety and uneasiness. The truth is, Alchemist, is that reality is not what it seems. To have an accurate understanding of the world around us, we must be mindful of what we are putting into our field of experiences. When all we are fed is information that is meant to fuel our unhappiness, that simulated reality becomes fact in our mind. This phenomenon is promulgated by social media and mainstream news networks, who all seek to profit from our constant attention. Sanity is a fragile thing. In order to maintain our mental health, we must nurture our consciousness with proper stimulation; engage in experiences that are genuine; ones that rekindle the same natural state of bliss our ancestors lived with, despite their harsher living conditions. Being in nature and bathing your eyes in the color of the forests and mountains is a great way to reconnect to what is real. While in nature, you are staring at similar scenery that humans have been subjected to for thousands of years, thus awakening you to a truer reality. It is not through information that we can uncover what is true, rather, it is through experiences that we align ourselves to what is unchanging about reality.
