THE TOOLS OF THE ALCHEMIST
Transmuting darkness into light, discovering more of ourselves, and uncovering the Truth.
Good day, fellow Alchemists:
The term energy is often thrown around among spiritual circles as a representation of something intangible.
It has become synonymous with words like qi (pronounced "chi"), prana, and ki (pronounced somewhat like the word "key"). All of these terms describe a similar phenomenon of energy, which exists within a person who supports the function of the soul and his or her extrasensory abilities.
While science is aware of many natural forces in this world, like nuclear forces or electromagnetism, there seems to be a lack of understanding as to what life-force is and its role in the metaphysical nature of life.
This life-force energy, often described in practices like Qi Gong or Pranayama, is a type of energy that cannot be observed with the naked eye. It is said that this life-force energy vibrates on a frequency higher than visible light, and that to be perceived, one would be required to open their third-eye.
This is why mainstream science discredits the existence of such a force. Scientists are dependent on what they can observe in order to draw conclusions about a given subject. Lacking this kind of extrasensory vision, they have no choice but to dismiss any validity to these fantastic beliefs.
One scientist by the name of Baron Carl von Reichenbach actually re-discovered this life-force on his own and coined it the Odic Force. But no matter how many scientists or spiritualists provide evidence for its existence, feeling life-force energy for yourself is the only way to truly understand it.
Energy serves an important function for all of the Universe's creatures. It is our lifeline and our connection to the source of all creation. If it were represented in a physical form, it may look similar to the pattern seen in the Flower of Life, since it is a pure expression of life energy. Most importantly, we must understand that this energy is an extension of our will and is formed through our intentions. This is one of the many reasons behind the great value placed on meditation by various spiritual traditions. It teaches individuals to harness their intentions by focusing solely on a single thought.
Meditation is an important practice, not only by way of harnessing extrasensory abilities and reaching self-awareness but also, in manifesting specific outcomes. When this energy is properly controlled, it is said that it can even augment one's physical strength, increase vitality and rejuvenate health, all while slowing down the aging process.
We can wait until we have undeniable proof to reap the rewards of this practice, or we can begin to access this power ourselves, through mediation and breathing exercises, which may enhance our life-force energy.
With love and sincerity,
